The overtime issue could be a blessing in disguise. It's my understanding that the companies that do pay overtime will bend over backwards to limit it, even going so far as working guys only 4 days a week.TruckDuo, Maxgussam and blacklabel Thank this.

Glad to hear u have somewhat of a positive experience with RL..unfortunately my experience wasn't as positive..I was hired as a line haul driver at night..however on day 3 of working there ..they forced me to work 7or8 hrs on the dock then take a line haul..it was like oh by the way your working as a combo driver..in turn they expected me to keep up with all the other seasoned dock workers and produce in a 8hr shift what they normally do every day. Then take a line haul after that. However I was there when they first started this policy..Wilmington the capital of the co. wanted this policy nation wide but at the terminal I was at the managers and ALL dock foremans there despised this policy and took it out on the combo drivers to prove that it was not a good policy..Not to get to graphic in detail since I'm new to this forum..I was wrote up from DAY1 for not moving as fast as the other dock workers (no training at all BTW )..needless to say it was a short stay there..good luck to ya..my luck was horrible..Puppuller 57 and TruckDuo Thank this.
