The old stuff would last about a month, but this last bottle won't last a week no matter how applied.

Yea I guess it's about profit. A bottle used to last about two years, now probably only get a year or so.

The full strength, apply and dry to a haze, doesn't seem to last more than a few days or rain showers. Too much of a PITA to apply too often on a big truck. Ive started using the Rain X washer fluid and it works well in combination with higher end wiper blades. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I use the Rain X glass cleaner/water repellent on the side windows and mirrors. It works ok for them but is worthless for the windshield

oooo steel wool works great for cleaning build up off windshields. I also use it just to clean the ( dried) bugs and crud off

i drive at night, like so many others do as well.

i tried rain-x and under slower speeds, you many not need the wipers..

however, the rain does bead up and magnifies those rain droplets, and seem to be more hurtful to the eyes, than just the rain itself and the use of the wipers, with oncoming headlights. so i scrubbed my windshield with a soft sponge that had a scrub padded side, and never used it again.

now however, i do use the rain-x latitude wipers on my car, they look like winter blades from (i think) Anco or whomever and do seem to last longer than ordinary winter wiper blades i have bought in the past. i do believe these rain-x latitudes can fit trucks as well, there are many different sizes, but can be costly for a car, so i suspect if you want to shell out the money for your truck, you'd want to buy them at an auto parts store, rather than a truck stop.

i use them all year long, you might like them.

I've used those wipers on the minivan. Work pretty good. My T600 has them goofy wiper arms with the little bolt to attach the wiper, uuugghh.

    Never tried oooo steel wool.

Not a fan of rain x on the mirrors. At night time, backing up goes from a chore to: where'd the trailer go? Lol. I may have slightly exaggerated that last part.

Gotta say, this last storm was a breeze to drive through. 4 heavy coats, smeared around each coat. And no buffing. Minimal difficulty leaving the Love's, but was crystal clear the rest of the night, once the rain cleaned up the hazing.

    no, not steel wool.

there are sponges out there, check any auto parts store, or grocery store, that have 2 side to them. one is rough, the other is the typical sponge.

I use Rain-X in summer and winter. Bugs don't stick hard to the windsheild and cleaning them off is easy.
