Dude,I'm an Army Reserves soldier. Not a criminal. I have no police record and a perfect driving record for 12+ years.

Most companies claim to go back only 3-10 years but I had a recruiter tell me back in 2009 (when I first acquired my class A) that being licensed in Massachusetts allows all employers to look back to the day I got my first license. That would be my class D & got it in 1986. I just moved to Florida & plan to stay here. Eventually I'll transfer my license, insurance, registration, and plates. I was plead guilty to a DUI in 1991. I was sleeping in the back seat of my car with the engine/heat running,so I wouldn't get hypothermia. It was a snowstorm & it was like 20 degrees out in December. They had just made it illegal to have keys in ignition while under the influence. The incident in question happened in 1995. I got pulled over because an ### was tailgating me & I jacked my brakes a few times. He called cops until they followed. I hot pulled over in another storm. I passed the field sobriety easily but the officer claimed I walked 20 steps in a line, when he asked for 15. They had me walk the line on frozen snow & ice ,towards the lights of the cruiser (blinding). I accomplished it but too many steps.lol. I refused the breathalyzer & defended myself in the trial & was acquited.

I know nothing of the DUI laws. Maybe the recruiter used the wrong term?
May be they won't hire your because of the automatic restriction on your license.
It appears you had a streak going in the 90's. Young and foolish. Happens a lot!

    Good Luck.
That makes you a criminal???!!!! ha ha. Semper FI.
Thanks for your time in service.
    Good luck.

You were doing OK in my book till you broke open that story. Now I no longer believe you. Good luck in what ever career field you get into. If it is trucking you will fit in nicely because tall tells are golden with truckers. I am most definitively out of this thread that no longer is anchored in Veritas.

Good luck in your future. I hear those types of offenses make it tough, although I'm new. hope you land a good job.

How long after you get an implied consent does it take for a company to hire? I didn’t have a cdl when they caught the implied consent. It was over 2yrs ago
