What do you use? Do you carry a cordless disc grinder with you? Bolt cutters wouldn't work or they weren't big enough.

Unfortunately, yes. You can soak them in PB blaster and bust knuckles all day long with wrenches - or cut em off.

Best practice - use some anti seize on your nuts and bolts , use stainless, and it might - just might , be easier the next time.

1/2” cordless impact they will come loose or break. Either way is fine.

Yup, i actully carry a half inch air impact and have a fitting on the back of my airtank for it which is another option. Its better then a cordless for removing lugnuts if i gotta swap a tire for whatever reason but.more of a pain in the ### to use.

Two box wrenches. Either they will come apart or break.

1/2 ratchet and doubles up wrenches would probably work but a impact would be easier, I have a cut off wheel too but don’t think
I would need that for mud flaps

I tried one of the 1 inch cordless before, not a bad tool, but because i do scrap a lot its not unusual for me to need to change or patch tires several times a month. That and he batterys didnt hold up if i needed to do more then 1 or 2 wheels to justify the space for it and extra battetys. I usually keep it in my pickup now since the half inch air impact works better for my use case.

Thought about keeping my 1 inch air impact in my truck but even with the oversized tanks i can only zip 1 or 2 lugs off at a time with the big one before i run out. The half inch is just flat out easier to use most of the time and more generally useful. Also doesnt eat up near as much space.

Which one did you buy? I can easily take 4 loose and back on before I need to swap the batteries out.

One of the milwaukees, its a decent tool but i could only zip off 1 or 2 tires before the battery got too weak to do anymore. Thought it was a battery issue but even with the bigger ones it lost steam after 2 changes. Part of may be that since im a rock truck that dirt gets caked into and onto everything and tends to bind them on pretty good. Usually takes a solid 30 to 40 seconds per lug to get them to break loose with the battery impact.
