Replacing the 5" shafts with 10" on Wilson 2k

    I purchased the radio with the RFX-75 Mod from Bells, along with his "tune-up". So I guess that would include the receive mod.

    EDIT...
    Looking at Bells page, he does list a separate receive mod. If that's what you're referring to, no I did not have that done. Just the Tune-up and the RFX-75.

    The 5" shaft and 10" shaft models have different coils.

    When looking for a replacement coil at GI Joes. The coil and stinger are available as a set, for both the 2000 and 5000 trucker antennas. They come without the shaft but nowhere do they ask what shaft your going to put it on. http://www.gijoesradioelectronics.com/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=228

    I wasn't recommending GI Joe's, just showing there is no
    difference in the coil of 2000 trucker antenna 5 or 10 inch
    shaft.
