5 more inches would get MANY more happy girlfriends.......lol!Logan76 Thanks this.

I purchased the radio with the RFX-75 Mod from Bells, along with his "tune-up". So I guess that would include the receive mod.
EDIT...
Looking at Bells page, he does list a separate receive mod. If that's what you're referring to, no I did not have that done. Just the Tune-up and the RFX-75.

EZ Money Thanks this. -
http://www.wilsonantenna.com/cutting.php Shows stinger length for different size shafts. Look close, because it is not a case of add a inch to the shaft and cut an inch from the stinger.
-
The 5" shaft and 10" shaft models have different coils.
-
When looking for a replacement coil at GI Joes. The coil and stinger are available as a set, for both the 2000 and 5000 trucker antennas. They come without the shaft but nowhere do they ask what shaft your going to put it on. http://www.gijoesradioelectronics.com/scripts/prodList.asp?idCategory=228Last edited: Feb 17, 2013

Here is a good site for a lot of these questions. I can't find any difference in coils for a 5 or 10 inch shaft here either. http://wilsonantenna.com/trucker.php or here for FAQ http://wilsonantenna.com/faq.php
Eaton18 Thanks this. -
Stay away from GI Joes. They'll screw you.
-
I wasn't recommending GI Joe's, just showing there is no
difference in the coil of 2000 trucker antenna 5 or 10 inch
shaft. -
