True respect...both for & within this industry....seems to be sorely lacking.

I hope your CDL experiences are better than that....going forward.

That’s awesome brother, I went to a weight loss Dr and they wanted me to take the magic pill but went to FMCSA Website and it was on the prohibited or banned or what ever list, contacted my Dr and he said oh we just send you a letter and let them know it POSSIBLY could give you a false negative and I said yeah Bo thinks can’t risk losing my CDL or having to jump through those hoops so, took their dieticians advise on what and when and how much to eat and told them to cram Their pills and I’m down 9 pounds in 2 weeks
Safe travels sir keep the shiny side up and outta the ditches

Another update, I successfully completed the upgrade test. i was assigned a 2022 Freightliner Cascadia with 269,000 miles on it. The tractor was located in Paschall Truck Lines Indianapolis, IN terminal. The next day I was assigned a load from Cummings Engine just south of Indianapolis, IN to Memphis, TN. I was then assigned a load which was overweight from Memphis to Newnan, GA. I completed that load and was assigned a load from Peach Tree City, GA to Irving, TX. That load I brought home following 3 weeks on the road.

Congratulations on your transition back into Trucking. I am just getting ready to get back in after being off the Truck for 2 years for a Knee Injury that I had to have a full knee replacement for. Let's see how this goes.

Working on going back to firefighting or trucking? I was talking about the former. Honestly I'm driving strictly for money

Shouldn’t have taken this long to figure that out. Especially at a place like PTL
