For the first time in 6 years I have a load that I can't scale legal (what can I say I've been lucky). I may have to do my 10 at the shipper while waiting for load to get reworked. So my question is when I take it back to the same CAT scale in the morning is my re-weigh number still good or does it expire after x amount of hours?

reweigh for $2.00 may be charged, after the first weigh, if all of the following are true:

    Same vehicle (tractor and trailer),
Full price ticket is presented by the customer and its number is recorded on the reweigh ticket,
Reweigh must be from the same scale as the full priced ticket,
Reweigh must be within 24 hours of the full priced ticket.

I am really having a problem getting legal, is there a limit on how many reweighs can I get for $2.00?
We know there are times when it is difficult to get a load legal, after paying for a full price weigh and two reweighs (for a charge of $14.00), the on duty manager may elect to void all further reweighs until you are legal. The reweigh that shows you legal will be the last one you will have to pay for. The total charge in this case would be $16.00.

I didn't know that. I scaled last night and did a reweight. I was legal on the last one, but didn't like how close I was on the Drives. I slid the 5th wheel and reweighed it this morning, but paid full price

The reweighs may only count on a cat scale also, not sure about the odd ball ones that are around.

glad you weighed your wagon, btw. I hope that you have fuel. Do you know what needs to be done to get your weights legal? Would you mind sharing your axle weights from the first weigh?

    I weighed with 1/2 tank

    original weights were

    11560
    36560
    26360

    After the last reweigh

    11360
    35220
    27900

ended up getting reworked fairly quickly so was able to get off site and reweighed at the same scales for the reweigh fee..set everything where I wanted it and

    11320
    31040
    31990

good to go. Slid it back a hole to even it out and off I went
