Had to spend the night at the cons. Someone changed delivery time from 12/04 0700 to 12/03 1500. Was i told Nooooooo! I was eating breakfast yesterday got a call hey you are showing late for delivery. No i have like 20 some hours left fm says no appt changed you gotta roll. Told her me get no info on change, me finish food first you no communicate sorry. A mistake on ur end does not denote an emergency on my end. BTW it was an awesome breakfast at the Davy Crockett T/A on I81. Had the big rigger pancakes, gravy biscuits eggs bacon and home fries.

So some other fm called me this morning telling me to go back to shipper after I told them over and over there's no load for us there. So I go back wiggle my way through traffic and back to shipper barely clearing light poles with tight turns. Get to shipper and yet again no load, another company hauls there scrap paper, they only had 2 bales and a full truckload won't be ready til the end of the week hauled in another companies trailer sitting at a dock. So I called explained again the problem and back on the shoulder at a service area parked. They love to waste my day and time by not listening to a driver and rather hear from the horses mouth so to speak.

Man Roehl must be running you so hard you don't have to eat. From the looks of what you had you must have been famished. Lol! Glad to see they didn't ruin your breakfastt. Of course I would have done the same thing. Finish my food then go.

Well this could be a long day. I arrived at this grocery warehouse at 1100 and still haven't been called to a door yet.

Delivered to my customer in lake city, FL. I'm 45 minutes from my house, so if I don't have a pre plan by 1500 I'll be going back home for the night (I left the house this morning).

If I get a load that picks up tomorrow, or CAN be picked up tomorrow, I'm going home lol.

At Flying J on US 59 and Texas 242. Less than 20 miles from con. I debated on trying to change appt and deliver today but decided against it. Get something to eat grab a shower and relax some and only have a short trip in the morning. Only 2hrs 10min left on 70 anyway so I didn't want to get stuck there either.
Gotta love this east Texas weather too. It's sunny, it's raining, it's sunny, it's raining.
