They simply outgrew it. Too much volume for the old building. Now one side is shipping, the other side is receiving. The other half of building is going to be a Wal-Mart DC. It's gonna replace the storage facility in riverside on Flowood
LoL last time I was there was in Feb or March so I had no idea they moved. Guess I should have kept my trap shut on it. LoL
You're asking the fluff questions. What you should want to know about is how expenses are handled, because that's what affects your bottom line. The lack of a fuel discount (and I'm sorry, but cash price is NOT a fuel discount) is a bit of a blow to the bottom line. That said, there are things that JCT does to also HELP with expenses, such as pay the road use tax so you don't have to mess with it... still, know where your interests truly lie. If you want to make money, focus on the money when you're talking to companies. You know THEY will be.
I have often wondered why jct don't get fuel discounts...besides the little 5 cents .....my old company got between 22 and 27 cents off the pump price...or is jct getting the discount and only giving us the 5 cents?
JCT has a lot of perks to their lease program. The one big disappointment is the fuel discount. Seems like they are the ones capitalizing on our biggest expense out here.
This is one reason I love JCT. Even the staunchest advocates are realists when it comes to the few drawbacks the company has. That makes their positive posts all the more believable, because they don't try to sugar coat the unpleasant.
Just got off the phone with a guy from my old company....he was kind enough to tell me their discounts....they get 24 from pilot/flying j....26.7 from loves... 17-19 ta/Petro...21 Wilco Hess and 14-16 ambest
