Well.... I waited til I was headed east to let my dm know. I cross the yard tomorrow on the way to Clarksville AR. I will be close enough in Clarksville to DH back if they dont have chicken in Rogers to bring to the yard. Yes. I am leaving. Got a great offer for a Project Mgr position at home. Sweet salary and back on my original career path. Baby is due in August anyway so its for the better. I might even finish grad school like diabello too. I had a great time at JCT and met some really good folks. Even met a couple squids I consider tolerable. Made some good money and ran lanes I hadnt before. I have a cellphone PACKED with awesome pics. No regrets here and yes, I would definitely do it again. Not the way I would actually buy a truck but it is an awesome deal if you are credit challenged, or just want to "rent" a truck like I did. I was told the door was open if I ever want to come back. That made my day. I didnt get rich, but I did ok. Some awesome weeks, some lean weeks. The latter my fault or maybe bad equip. My last run to SoCal last week was rough with a dog of a trailer, but unlike you guys I had a pp within 20 minutes of bumping the dock. I did waste a day trying to fix that turd and the dropping it at utility and hunti g down another trailer. Now, dont everyone start jumping for joy, cause that doesnt mean you have smelled the last of me. I will be sneaking around in this thread for a long time.
####. Seems like everyone is leaving. Best of luck to you Jarhed at your new job and congrats on the kid in August. I spent the night at the Loves outside of Holbrook, As and saw two trucks pull in followed by DOT and put out of service. Not sure for what, but they had the big ol out of service tag on the windshield.
Well got another preplan picking up at WCC going to Paul's Valley, OK. Planner called me and told me not to go there but to wait till load is ready and would call me. Hope do not have to wait all day.
