Sounds like you get to stick around the southeast quite a bit, ya lucky bastid. I'm all over the place, and will be even moreso now with 2nd seat coming on board tomorrow.

I would like to note, however, that I plan on buying about 150 gallons of diesel at $3.689 tomorrow in Okie city.

    Nyah nyah! ;)

Well that's a little better than my 216.4 gallons @ 3.73 was sitting on E thankfully not for to long though. Oh bought that in SC on my way into FL. Don't want any of that 4 dollar a gallon gold. LMAO

Love this Oregon fuel. 3.62 hahaha. I'm sitting getting a 34 currently under the load. Had no hours rolling off today and was out.

I feel you brother. My dr. is not too fond of my dr. pepper habit. When Wally has those things on sale for a buck each, its very tempting to clean em out as well. Knowing wally, they probably have a sheet load in the stock room.

    Drloveofdfw,

Trust me it could be worse. My dad goes ape when I need to buy new paints. Because im big they cost $50 each and I buy two or three at a time. Sometimes I feel like im my dads 2nd wife.

It's that device that you stick in the air vent inside your truck to check and see how cold your AC is blowing. It is also used to check whether or not you can sleep in your truck or if you need to sleep in the back with the freight!:biggrin_255:

Sorry Jarhed1964, I couldn't resist! Hope you got the AC fixed!

I experimented today. Heading back to Okie from Cali, I noticed fuel is a bit cheaper along I-10 than I-40 in Arizona, and I figured that and the easier hills to deal with on the way out of state would offset the 80ish extra miles (12.5 gallons or so) that going 10/17/40 instead of 15/40 would take me.

Not something I'd recommend everybody do, but it was great for me because my engine is derating since it's not burning DEF (something to get fixed in Sapulpa), so it's not pulling hills worth a snot. I'm maintaining decent fuel economy on 10/17/40 opposed to climbing hills at 25 mph for 3 gpm (gallons per mile).

IIRC, Oregon fuel is cheap because fuel tax isn't charged as part of the price and has to be paid separately. Great for us, sucks for JCT. :)

Yeah gotta love not having to worry about fuel taxes with JCT. LoL though at times I bet they hate having to.

Well hopefully it is something still covered under the warranty cause that sounds like a DEF pump or DEF injector.
