Yeah you are right about that she does have a pain of a job with some that don't do what they need to. Then others make it worse by being idiots in the class room when there.

Who else was going to pay for it?

My truck got creamed by a runaway deer the other day in Wyoming. Although it didn't get put OOS, it still has some good sized dents, cracked faring, and broken door handle. Who should I send the bill to? Dept of the Interior? BLM? Wyoming Highway Dept?

My truck, my responsibility. Anything less than $1000 is on me. Sucks, but such is life.

Got great dash-cam footage of the whole thing though lol.

Did you actually report the damage to the glass? Did you call JCT and report it, and speak with claims?

I'm guessing no...but you'll probably say yea you reported it and JCT told you to shove it...
