    Ha! You
    :biggrin_2559:

I will get her fixed at some point. Good thing is it is in the low 50's here in Jacsonville FL tonight. Should make it easy. Down to 7.3 mpg today. I think those hills in VA slapped it down yesterday. Plus, no aero on the trailer at all.

Don't worry, you still have options for ac! Just roll down you windows and get it up to 88 mph. I'd secure everything first or you'll be the first tornado victim of the year!:biggrin_255:

On the other hand, are we running out of trailer? I've gotten 3 so for that aren't aero. I'm on my 3rd "R" trailer in a row. Sometimes it feels like I'm pulling the Titanic. Occasionally, I see a deckhand come out and spray the hull with Pam and she eases up for a little while.

The one I'm pulling is an R as well. I am praying that I can get rid of it asap. Until then, I will just attempt to compensate by slowing down.

On the subject of trailers, I had one the other day that had a sensor of some sort over the fuel dial. Where am I supposed to read the fuel level when that thing is on there?

I'd just top the thing off whenever I fueled, in that scenario.

If you're a stickler though, you can always stick the tank for a sense of how much fuel is in there.

I tried to ditch mine in Sherman at Tyson. Planner told me the load was ready Thursday around noon. I leave my oh so comfy lazyboy and roll up there to find out that it won't be ready for 10 hours. I go up to the corner store and sat. When I went back in 10, those fools loaded that same stinking trailer I was trying to get rid of. Load went to Walmart in Ochelata, OK. I'm from Tulsa and I've never heard of the place. Guess I know where it is now! Got spoiled in Temple; was in and out in 2 hours. I was starting to wonder if the fine folks in Ochelata forgot about me. I was there I think 4+ hours!

Get there early, I got there an hour and twenty mins before my time and took 45 minutes to get in (one old man working the gate). Had to wait 30 minutes past my door time to get backed up to the door. Get checked in asap. Lumper is 50. Go to the bathroom before you get there! Bathroom is Eww! Prepare to be there a while. Watch out for the lady at the first window. She has the world finest chocolate bars (the kind the schools sale) and I think jerky for sale for a buck! Supports some cancer organization. I couldn't resist, gave in and plus it was for a good cause.

Some good tips in there, thanks!

No lumper fee for me, according to my paperwork and load info.

oh and vending machines are at Walmart's funky weird pricing. .90 for a 20 oz and same for a bag of chips. 1.15 for, I think a danish. I think if the machine took penny's. I'm sure that the prices would end with a 6 or an 8.

    and no truck parking nearby!

Anybody else sitting in Ochelata to deliver? I'm just pulling in the gate myself. Just a note, mere is a dirt lot across the street where others do park, however I would advise against it as I'm seeing yet another trailer being towed out of a hole, and that make the 4th consecutive trip here I have witnessed such an event. Heading back to sapulpa after I get empty.
