I found out the hard way that it's 737 miles from Joseph City, AZ to Weatherford, OK.

Don't ask how I managed 67 mph for 11 hours when my truck's maximum speed is 66 (not worth pestering the shop over 2 mph).

Load picks up tomorrow at 1230; parked 15 miles from pickup. Time to go to buddies house for some Bar-B-Que.

    Yum. Yum.

Time to go catch the new X-Men movie that hit theaters this weekend, and I'll probably check out Best Buy to see if they have an external Wi-Fi antenna for better reception at truck stops and such.

There are USB wi-fi adapters with high gain antennas available on New Egg for a decent price. You can use a USB extension cord and put the antenna near the windshield while you kick back in the cab and enjoy the APU.

I don't have the patience to wait for delivery, so I bought one from Best Buy and paid considerably more for it.

Which one did you get? I have been looking into getting a high power long range WiFi adapter myself? Would be interested in what kind of performance you getting from it.
