I just now bought the Netgear A6200, but I haven't had a chance to really use it, yet.

I'm hoping to see a benefit at truck stop wi-fi locations, right now I'm using my cell phone hot spot.

Antennas may help if you're away from the hot spot, but if they have crappy service and/or speed, it won't help much.

Lately, more and more places are having issues with their equipment cuz it's old and outdated. Many places are waiting for the local ISP provider to come out and physically repair or replace the equipment.
I've called Wandering Wi-Fi so many times (sometimes several times a day) that some of the techs actually know who I am and that's not good. LOL

What is it with the planners wanting to send you 1800 miles to deliver one day before you are to be home? Then they get upset when you turn the load down. I told them I deliver your freight ontime; so, I expect to be home when I tell you. That date is not a suggestion and if you can't get me home from Arlington,Tx then I am going home from there. I don't live far there. And, I got home a week last time I went home.

Yep it seems that is exactly what you have to do at times.

I'm going to make delivery and go home as soon my hours come back. The worse part is they laughed like I was joking. I'll let it go once, next time will be an official complaint. My hometime is not a joke.

Who was laughing at you when you said that? The planner?

Night dispatch. But, I chose to ignore it this time. Going home 3 days earlier and refusing to take that load is my way of saying screw you without saying screw you.

Not defending dispatch by any means, but they were probably trying to cover a load and were laughing at the absurdity of you actually taking it, knowing you were due home.

I don't know what is so hard to comprehend. When its time to go home, IT'S TIME TO GO HOME!!!! PERIOD......END OF DISCUSSION

Yeah in a way it allows you to say it without saying it and possibly any reprimand.
