Wow. I delivered the load and they still tried to twist my arm into taking another load. I give them an A for effort.

Anyway....it is a good thing I am going home now. My area is supposed to get an ### load of rain the next few days. And the whole area is under flood warning. My house and where I park are on high ground, but the area into and out of tends to flood. I might end up being home longer than expected. Just have to wait and see.

Its amazing what happens when someone calls with a good attitude. Shellie (the TX planner) called me and asked what happened yesterday. I told her what happened and the only reason I stuck to my guns about taking that preplan was because of the attitude of night dispatch when they called. She completely understood and said she would have the same thing. I told her that their attitude would have not been one of I am a DM and you are stupid driver now do what I say; I would have been more than happy to at least load the preplan and dropped or swapped the load.

But anyway. Got a load going to Houston coming in by team from Arkansas. So, got everything worked out and both sides are happy.

Um......Shellie is one of the good ones if you're on her good side. Refuse to work with her and she'll drop you like a hot potato, instantly. She is definitely moody.

I must be on her good side then. :biggrin_25525:

I am pretty easy to get along with. Just don't be an ### about wanting me to do something for. I don't think that is to much to ask for.

The person I am swapping with is also trying to get home. So, this swap benefits both of us.

Yea I suppose I should have added the disclaimer that she has always been good to me. YMMV of course.
