I am liking this 2015 Cascadia Evo. I have the 10spd model with 3.07 rears. From Sapulpa to Phoenix (I44-I40-I25-US60-US70-I10) with a non aero trailer at 42,000lbs running 63mph (which is the same rpm at 57mph on the 2012 model I had before). The truck managed 7.23mpg. Picked up a load at JBS in Tolleson (to get back home) with an aero trailer and 42k in the box running 63mph along I-10 all the way to Deming, NM; the truck managed 7.4mpg (according to Qualcomm).

I don't think that is bad at all considering the motor is not even broken in yet. I also plan to add airtabs (more for stability than mpg) and save for the flow below system.

I am just getting used to the air ride front end. Man, is that different. And the truck stops a whole lot better than the 2012 I had which had drum brakes all the way around. Not sure why, but the lane departure does not work on this truck. Kinda of odd since it is new. But, I am not worried about that. I didn't realize that this truck had an idle timer on it and I freaked out the first time the motor shut off by itself. But, just turn on the cruise and bump the rpm up a little or release the brakes cancels out the timer.

crxdc and Steel Tiger Thank this.

I got approached by another JCT driver in Phoenix while getting fuel looking for a swap trying to get to Florida also. They have him going to Riverside, CA. I would have done it, but I am on my load home also.

Glad to hear that you're happy early with the new truck. I am curious, however why you chose that route and add an extra 150 miles instead of going to Flagstaff and only adding 50 miles to the trip.

When I was at the yard getting this truck; the DM's had their hands full trying to get trucks routed back home. A large portion of the JCT fleet is going home for Christmas. So, a swap might be very hard to set up right now.

If she would have told me that I would have figured a diffrent way. But she said she already had one lined up then I get to Amarillo and she is off without getting it all done. So I'm gonna be out over 1g from flights from Vegas to Florida because she lied to me.
