Ha, seen that happen a few times both ways, I never got married until about 5 years after I got out of the military though.
If they are truly paying your IFTA tax then you shouldn't be charged the tax when you fuel at the pump. Can you see if you are paying it or not? I remember being asked about IFTA at the truck pumps when using a regular credit card but never when using a COMDATA card so it may be in the company settings for your fuel card. Or maybe they are just filing for you and calling it "paying" for you.
Hello Everyone. Just wanted to say i have enjoyed reading all of this thread and have learned alot through all of you. I put in my application Monday and was hoping to be in orientation this Monday but when i called on Friday they still had to do my Employment verifications. Does it usually take them this long? Do you know what year/make trucks will be available at the yard?
That's a shady statement there. What they do is file the forms for you and if it was under paid they pay the extra. But, guess what, if you over paid who do you think gets the refund (don't look in the mirror for any answers). Its good to be THAT guy, just don't want to be that OTHER guy. TA
Ok thanks. I guess that is my only worry is getting a crap truck that i am gonna have to go in the hole fixing.
When I last left the yard... 3 weeks ago ish?... There was one 2013 T660 (stay AWAY from those POS), Several 2014 and 15 Cascadia's and about 20 new petes and kw's.
Don't expect a new truck unless there is absolutely nothing else on the yard though. Last time I was at the yard there was about 25 or so used trucks. About 90% was Freightliners.
