Got trailer washed out. Sitting about 10 miles from Swift/JBS. Load still ain't ready. Did mange to get a couple of referrals today. While the trailer was being washed had a couple of drivers approach me about joinging JCT. Told them what I knew and gave them the screen cleaner things and a business card.

I have never been approached by other drivers wanting to find out more about the company I am with. Usually, it is them trying to get me onto their company. I thought it was kinda cool and felt pretty good that I am with a company that other drivers want to go to.

I was always amused when someone tried recruiting me. A Stevens recruiter made the mistake of trying myself and my best friend one day. We let him do his spiel... "36 cps, 2200 miles a week, blah blah blah." We hit him back with our averages... 48cpm, 2500 miles, home weekends and a couple times a week. Them my friend offered him the company number. Dude was not happy. Lol

I'd like to thank whomever has been pulling 6195 recently. The chute is pulled loose for at least 10 feet and its not new damage. Nothing like wasting time on a short clock.

Gotta love when other drivers leave you surprises like that.

Loaders and unloaders probably did that. Tk did a quick job rehanging mine on Friday. My prob with the trailer was that someone broke the pigtail door off. Alanp red tagged it.

Well I am now sitting down in Holtville, CA waiting for a door so I can pick up my partial load of produce then head to Yuma, AZ to pick up the rest of it. To bad I can't get both picks done today. Since they decided to waste my time after being unloaded this morning. But after picks then I will be off to Denver.

I am going to Denver also. JBS still don't have my load ready. I think I will get a full ten before it's ready. They have the appointment setup for Wednesday at 0430 at Darling Company on York St.
