R trailers don't bother me when it comes to fuel economy. It's the age and lack of maintenance that's they issue for me. Pulled plenty of R trailers and gotten 9's out of them

I got the settlement email this morning. When I checked it there were two loads on it instead of one like I was expecting. Got to thinking about and I knew that I scanned the other load on the settlement on a Saturday and it wasn't on the friday message of loads to be paid. And, I didn't put in for a late trip. I try to avoid that.

So, I called settlements and asked about it. At first, she was like I had put in a late trip for it. I said, that I didn't. The load was swapped to another driver on Saturday the 19th. The load shouldn't be on this paycheck unless the scanning deadline changed to Monday. She said the deadline didn't changed and checked again. The truck that I swapped the load to had put in the late trip for that load. It's a glitch in the system that will late trip a swapped load to both trucks if one of those trucks puts in for a late trip. And, it only charges the requesting truck with a late trip and not the other truck.

So, due to a computer glitch that they haven't worked out, I got an unexpected load on a settlement that I was expecting on the 31st and not charged for a late trip.

Ran into same situation a couple of times this year. Loads that were swapped and other driver late tripped caused me to get paid on that load even tho it shouldn't have been on next settlement.
Both times, 1st thing said, "you late tripped it." I RARELY late trip my stuff. After further digging, they realized other driver's request glitched the system

I rarely use a late trip also. I only used 4 for the whole year. I know a couple of drivers who used all 10 before the year was half way done.

And that's a good thing. Means you are running your business in a profitable manner and not from paycheck to paycheck.

I don't see how they stay in business if they are always doing late trips. It has to catch up at some point.

10 before the halfway point? I get drivers that use them all up b4 the end of January. One driver I mentored paid an extra 43 late trips. That was in Sept. Haven't heard from him in a while. Lol
