Everyone should fuel anywhere but pfj..only the trls at pfj...lets see how much $$ they make then... Then if jct changes again and makes it punitive to fuel anywhere else, then you'll know for sure what there motives are...

Steel I know you have a finger on the pulse there at HQ, are they not seeing the negative reactions and maybe thinking it was a bad idea?

Not sure how many of you were here at JCT when they 1st offered the 5¢ rebate at all Loves & PFJ, but about 1 month b4 that, I had spoken to the VP of fleet sales at Loves. The reason was at the time, we were getting a 4¢ rebate at PFJ only, but I was noticing a 7¢ difference on my settlements when I bought Loves fuel. The VP told me that that was the deal JCT had at the time. I found it funny that JCT NEVER informed drivers of this. They only pushed PFJ.

Now the kicker...The VP also informed me that JCT and Loves just finalized a deal and we should start seeing even more of a rebate. So about a month later, JCT announces, proudly I might add, that now we will be getting a 5¢ rebate for all fuel at PFJ & Loves.

So, we went from earning 1¢ more at PFJ and losing 2¢ at Loves. The next time I went to the yard, I sat in our CFO's office and point blank asked him about it. The answer I received was, "Because I can." My reply was simply, "Thank you, have a wonderful day."

Form your own opinions with that information.

Just got off the phone with the Fleet Account Manager for JCT......all I can say I WOW!!

So, this is what I can say about the conversation. Loves has no intention of discontinuing the current bonus 10 points/gallon program. The program is likely to continue thru the end of 2016. He even said that they MAY TRY to offer JCT drivers even more points per gallon to respond to JCT's new fuel program with PFJ. He could not confirm, but gave me permission to throw that out there.

Concerning the comment I made earlier about Loves not wanting to do or meet JCT's demands for a rebate problem......not the case at all. JCT severed ties on their own, thus the bonus points to the drivers as Loves controls their own points system.

I assured him that I would do my part in passing along the information and he also agreed that the best way to bring JCT back to the table is to "boycott" PFJ when it comes to tractor fuel. I haven't been to school in years, but 14 cents is still more than 12 cents. Even if you don't reach the Diamond level, 13 is more than 12. Add the usual 1 penny cheaper in price for fuel and you're still better off fueling at Loves. Potentially 15 cents savings versus 13 at PFJ (12 cash, 1 point).

Sounds like you drivers need to stand together and send a loud and clear message to jct about this... I dare jct to retaliate against you guys.. That would be the biggest mistake they could make...

Seems like some big changes going on over there.
Glad to see SteelTiger reaching out to Loves to help get the rebate extended at the very least for the rest of the JCT driver.
