Got a message earlier today that was telling me which loads they have that will paid to me next week. That is pretty cool. Never had a company do that before. Stopped today at the Pilot on I-40 exit 39 in NM and picked up my Qualcomm and boy was it smoking. Had 3 mins left on my drive time. I get 10.5 hours back at Midnight (central time) and then I will run those hours out. That will put me about 4.5 hours from the receiver. My logbook is going to be smokin all the way to Stockton. The next load should be one to get me home (live north of Houston) and I will smoke my logbook all the way home and let the it cool down with 72hrs off.
I know, think was used as team truck for awhile. Reason I chose it was Jac said would be getting rid of it by summer and could get new truck then. Plus has an APU that is paid off and only other trucks available during orientation where 2012 with 300xxx and no apu.
Might want to pull a fix-it report n see when was the last time the rack was run..... Or just bite the bullet n get i done yourself... $400-500 at the most....Speedco for a quick oil analysis.... All things I would be looking at... Check the air filter-Are the fuel filters visible???
Well I was hoping to have been able to pick this load up already but I am still sitting here in Grand Island waiting. Seen about 30 bull haulers come in in the last 20 mins.
Fuel Filters look good. Will get with shop to find out the fuel mpg average for the past drivers to see if there is a big difference.
