Morning Cranky no need to worry about us beating you up for asking questions. We all had them at one point or another. But on pay I personally see any where between .38 to .41 cpm but you have to remember that at the end of my lease I will be the owner of a Freightshaker. So as pay is equal to some companies and maybe less than others it works out for me. Now things maybe different for you as no one has the same situation. As far as medical that's on you to get.

As far as the trucks they try to get the trucks back into shape before a new driver takes it over but they will miss things if they are not aware of it.

But as far as picking of truck it's kinda a luck of the draw as to what's available at that time. They do allow you to exchange trucks out after 90 days if you want to.

If you have any more questions don't be afraid to ask. Remember the only stupid question is one not asked.

When you are in orientation, you pick a truck out of what is available, which is usually a used truck. Used means just that.....you may get a piece of crap, or you may luck up and get a decent one. But with used, you don't know the history of truck. Did previous driver take care of it or abuse it? My suggestion is this. Stick with whatever you get for 90 days and then upgrade to a new one. Fresh warranty and everything should work.

I personally hope to see a few more T-680's come in always liked the look of them and how everything is laid out for the interior. Even more so if they are the Studio sleeper. If that does happen you will be seeing a 2014 Evo sitting back in the yard. LoL

We do a lot of stuff from Arkansas to the northwest, so going thru the house shouldn't be an issue if you have time on a load. We have a couple of customers we pick up from in that area also (Greeley).

Only after we make our balloon payment....$1.00. LOL
As far as medical insurance goes, we are independent business owners so we have to provide our own medical insurance. Or use our spouse's if they have coverage where they work.

just wait I will irritate you all with my questions. I am a former oilfield driver. I used to live in greeley but ended up fracturing my wrist from a plug that had massive air pressure built up behind it. So me and the wife decided to move to Denver where "I thought" there would be better jobs. not to admit that I just like driving and not offloading product in the numerous food service jobs that are available.... I was always one of those drivers that told people to stay away from lease purchase, when I would see the CR England trucks drive by. I do realize as a business owner you have to maintain good mpg and also to baby your equipment, but are you guys finding that you are happy with your choice of leasing from JCT? up until a few days ago, I was only looking for company driver jobs then I ran across this thread.... LOL thanks for changing my mind haha

Lease purchase isn't for everyone. It definitely takes some thought process. I personally make it work, others do not. That's not something anyone can answer for you. BUT, if you do decide on JCT, you have an army of people that are more than willing to help you out....from office folks to regular drivers.
