Running with JCT, Part Deux

Why so much sitting ? Been sitting allday today just got unloaded still have 8 hrs to run but no load any ideas and im in Phoenix az any ideas

 

What do your hours look like 2moro and the next day?
Or it could just be freight is really light yesterday

 

Well, I just had a 34 hr restart in Florida waiting on a load. Was told teams get loaded first.

 

I don't necessarily buy into that line of thought. Customers order product based on their needs and they decide how soon after ordering/loading they want it. Some want it ASAP, hence the team loads, other want the normal transit time.

 

I don't either Steel..think I might have to get a new DM. Mine seems kind of timid.

 

Here's a suggestion to all.

Get the numbers to all the planners and their email addys. Contact them directly. Usually get results that way.

 

Meant to mention this last night......ran into @CannonballAA at the motel yesterday. He approached me with his beautiful dog in the parking lot.

Wonder what gave my identity away, the FLOW Below on the truck, the painted tires, or the "STEELTIGER" on my door. LOL

 

Also.....DRIVER APPRECIATION is this week at the terminal. Free food all week, free stuff, free giveaway prizes ad's great company.

They have away some sweet stuff. $100 gift cards, $25 gift cards, Yeti cooler....ad's that's just the 1st 2 days.

Do you have one, or is that something that we can ask for and recieve? Or something that we just have to make up as we go along?
