Easy day 364 miles ..Made delivery.. Tomorrow picking up a load out of Bellemont AZ heading to Riverside CA.. Had to take this cheap one to get myself home.. Just the way it is, sometimes it cost a bit to get me home. Still making money on the load going home, but there were some better choices if I was to stay out.

So far my plan worked out fairly well .. Had 2 high paying weeks prior to going home. That will help even things out, plus next week i can take a by-week on my truck payment so when I come out of the house i won't be negative.. At least that is the plan!

I'm glad someone's plan worked out. They cancelled my load from Ar. Although they waited til I was 10 or so miles away. 3-4 company trucks parked for the night though, wonder where they're heading......

Hmmm..That sucks. You should get paid at least for getting that close..

Man...I hate when that happens..One would think they could of told you sooner..

thanks atruckr for the info it seems you are doing very well with the choice program. With your take home figure is your truck payment already deducted ? And on average how often are you getting home ?

    atruckr Thanks this.

Yes that figure is after truck payment!

Typically by the house once a week for at least a 10 hr break. Home time for me depends on what I'm doing, last couple weeks was away but now home for 5 or 6 days

If you get a msg on route to a pick up load do not pull over and read any msgs. Go to the pick up, hit arrived and then read your msgs. That way you get paid $150. Seriously.

This is true..except when they remove it before you arrive.. unfortunately that has happen to me couple times. I still call and ask to get paid something, they will usually pay at least my miles driven up to $150 bucks

I talked to my dbl supervisor today and he was telling me they are 120 drivers short on choice. They need drivers out west the most. He told me SNI has about 1600 drivers on choice. He told me they really need more drivers out west. That's why they gave, that high incentive for fuel. It's hard to believe they are short. He told me the next time I stop in Charlotte he will show me the profit and loss, for the company. He also said he would have no problem showing me rate sheets.
