Heard from the mechanics at obetz about these gliders. Apparently they've found out that not all parts and seals and things like that were put on or installed properly. They have a strong dislike of these gliders.

Well I'm back to work and off to a ###### start. Got to my truck at 0800, found out I had a load already assigned to me that was scheduled to be picked up at 0715, realized I grabbed the wrong keys and left my truck keys at home and had to drive back to get them (hour round tri and I have to deliver p), got back at 0915. Now I need an empty so I filled out the request trailing unit macro, now I'm just waiting.... It's now almost 1000 and I have to deliver 768 miles from here at 1600 tomorrow........... Not gonna happen :biggrin_2551:

Even if you leave by 1300-1500 you should be fine, 1600 tomorrow is plenty time or did I miss read something??

I hate when that happens. Load assigned before you get to the truck. I want a load. But I need it to fit my scheduled return time.

We (me and DBL) generally work together to prevent it from happening. I live almost 3 hours from the yard...and ain't getting out of bed at 2am to make sure I'm there by 7.

    But it still happens. :biggrin_25512:

The load goes by what you set your nat/mac18 at. If you say your ready to go at 0800 the system thinks your ready to go at said time. And dispatches like that. It usually works pretty well.

Well its 10:40 now, still no empty, live load takes an hour, its about 14 hours of driving from here, heavy load so could be longer, Utah is an hour ahead from my current time zone so delivery appt is actually 1500 my time tomorrow.

Still possible but close, I don't see me getting an empty any time soon. This is some bull.....

I believe I'm doing this right.... If your on workflow and you get a load and its a live load but you don't have a trailer and you don't have a pick up empty on your task list then you send the "request trailing unit" message and dispatch will send me a list of empties and there locations, correct?

Ok... my second post as a newbie. Just got my CDL with all the endorsements. I have a phone interview with a Schneider recruiter Thursday. Schneider is my first choice for my first big rig driving job and I am looking a a regional tanker jig out of Charlotte. Any advise Schneider guys?

Where are you at now? Call support shift, might as well be on hold for 2hrs. Probably will get someone on the phone and a msg with the trailer at the same time :biggrin_25523:
