I love it when I get JIT load. Live load appt at 1000, one hour load. Tight delivery schedule.

Show up at 0945, and am told to park and they will let me know when they are ready to load me, it isn't ready yet. Finally get the 4 PALLETS loaded at 1300, I change my ETD, and get a message asking why I am gonna be late.

Sent a message back to call the shipper and let them explain it!!

Only bad thing about some of the schedules. Are those small checks on either side of the big one.

yep. Sometimes I get a run that spans a weekend, but recently its been going on the pick up pay week which I find strange. Especially a monday delivery? or tuesday when I broke down. Still paid the pick up week.

just need to be patient and get the required experience.

am I reading that posting they put on crossroads about this wrong then?

I thought that meant , like before, that the load paid out in the payweek it delivers in.

    oh man.

Do I give this 6/3 a chance working with the other drivers or go for the dedicated position I just saw on the website or intermodal.

Depends on you and your finances.

But if I understand things correctly. You won't be swapping real soon.
