That's why SNI needs to be more selective on their hiring process. Already the trucking industry changes constantly and nothing is concrete. Having the right people working with us makes the job much easier and will actually keep people on. SNI is losing accounts because of late freight mostly because drivers are quitting everyday.

I enjoy what I do or I wouldn't be driving.

I'm not here to bash SNI. I just know the frustration levels that come along with dealing with support and I(just like we(the drivers)) know what needs to be done to better it.

From all the threads i read seems that the drivers know more then majority of those who work in the offices, seems to be smart business to listen to the drivers.

SNI or CRST are probably the best two team outfits out there. Trucking is what it is, there are problems with us Humans where ever you go so really no big deal. Just do your time and talk to every driver you can and you will find the right place for you. Good luck from a fellow Vet.
PS. SNI is hiring for the oilfields in Texas, but that's a different thread but thought I would just throw that out there.

My first weekend off after having my first two weeks out. I already have an assignment for Monday - A light load that I pick up about 20 miles away from my house to take to Conroe, TX - about 1200 miles away. I am happy for a nice, easy and long run to welcome me back, especially after the HEAVY loads I took the last week and a half.

I think I finally have this whole Workflow thing figured out. Paperwork is easier for me now, and darn it, I've finally figured out how to get myself up a steep grade without slowing down to 10-15mph (thank you trailer full of heavy pallets through the Ozarks).

Oh, and I have yet to have a fuel request answered. I don't think I'm doing anything wrong, but I'm just getting fuel at any Pilot/Flying J that I see when I need it. Is some sort of trick to requesting fuel that I'm missing?

There arent any perfect trucking companys. As a whole SNI seems like one of the best large carriers out there. I have plenty of experience and I strongly considered going there. Ive been on here for the past 3 months researching various companys, IMO you cant go wrong starting here. I would recommend SNI over CRST any day. Just my .02
