That's the route I'd like to go but I still need to figure it all out, and save up enough for start up.

Well, this is probably gonna suck. I'm currently having 100 gallon tanks of syrup loaded into my trailer. Supposed to take only an hour but considering only 1 guy is loading them in with a fork lift, then moving them into position with a pallet jack, and then nailing braces into place, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna be here for q bit over an hour.

Then I'm most likely gonna have to back up 150 yards back to the street to get out.

Not on the choice program 1 load can pay the weekly payment on a truck. I can set up runs for a week ahead of time all I gotta do is just watch my fuel and I'll be good. No more forced dispatch with heavy loads I'm looking fwd to leasing and 3-4 times what I make now on a low week

Just remember to keep dead head miles down u don't get paid on dh also don't do relays they charge u $500. And just because u pick and choose doesn't mean its all roses. I see a lot drivers turning there lease and going back to company. Its nice when your truck is down a week and your not responsible. As leaser/oo your still responsible even for that payment. .

I've had it where they paid me the dead head miles on the prior week and the loaded miles weren't paid until the following week. I've also had it where I was paid the entire load the first week, but wasn't paid the stop off and detention pay until the following week. Who knows why or how they do things. I think it's a coin flip.
