    Well, made it to GATS in Dallas. Got to see the Ride of Pride and meet the driver of it.
    Just checked into the Magnolia hotel. All I have to say about this room is "WOW!!!!" I would never spend the money on a room like this mainly because I could never afford it.

    I've got a 2 hour live unload tomorrow morning after I drop and hook this load that only goes 17 miles but I can't complain because after that I've got a 1143 mile run from Denver CO to Stockton CA that has an open drop window so I can haul ### over there. After that I should be headed north for my overdue home time.

    Spending the night at the Flying J in Latta, SC. The place is nearly empty so I went and found a spot in the far back corner with no trucks around for 100ft in any direction. Popped the hood to let off the heat and opened all the windows. Only 70F tonight with minimal humidity, perfect sleeping weather. After spending the past week in Florida Idling every night because of the heat/humidity it's going to be nice to sleep with nothing but crickets chirping and the occasional truck passing on the interstate behind me.
