Picked a good day to just sit there and get detention. The system has been down all day company wide since early this morning and just came back up the past 30 minutes. You would have been sitting without a load anyway.

True, I'm at OXO sitting in a dock four hours and counting. Not the company's fault, just some days are hurry-up and wait.

Yea, I found out about the outage when I called in earlier to get the right pick up number. It's supposed to he fixed now. Wouldnt really effect me much as this load I'm supposed to pick up goes 723 miles down to Stockton CA, so I won't be delivering it until tomorrow any way.

Been sitting for over 4 hours now, burning up my 14 but at least my 70 isn't being wasted, and I'm still getting paid something. What is detention by the way, $14 per hour?

What size of envelope is the fuel card in? Does it come in the large envelopes like the pay statements? I tossed a couple of those in the trash while I was home because I had a massive stack of mail that I was getting tired of going through. Hopefully I didn't throw it away :S

yeah, it was a similar size envelope as the pay statements, but much heavier. I should think you would have noticed the difference. Mine came today.

Detention has always been paid to me at $15 for every 2 hours. Doesn't start until you hit 2 hours. That's when you get the first $15 which covers those first 2 hours. Then for 2-4 hours you get another $15 and so on.
