I really hate lazy people in shipping departments. I've been sitting the the truck for over an hour after counting my freight and when I go back in they tell me they never started because I wasn't unhooked from the trailer. She never said anything about unhooking when I checked in. Now they are on break and I'm in line after other drivers who got here after me because I wasn't unhooked. Though the other shipping guy has been outside about 5 times since I checked in and he never once decided to walk over and let me know I needed to unhook either. They just left me sit in the dock and ignored me.

Meanwhile I'm supposed to be at the Atlanta OC in 30 minutes to pickup another driver and give him a ride to Knoxville. I guess he's going to have to wait now because this place doesn't like giving drivers all the instructions they should be.

They do it to get people to their trucks atlanta may have just finished the advanced driving course and the truck he is assigned to could be at another location so instead of a rental they just have another driver do it

Right before Christmas I took a guy from Olney to Edwardsville. He came in with a driver from Indy. We are also a taxi service now.

Lol, when I had a pallet fall on me and wasn't allowed to drive for about 2 weeks because the doctor put me on light duty. Schneider put me on a bus home, then when I was cleared to drive I caught a ride with another driver from the Portland OC down to the Concentra in Bakersfield CA where my truck was.

When I traded in my 06 century in Fontana I took a rental car with another driver back up to Portland to pick up my 07 century, then I drove the other driver up to the Sumner wa drop lot to get his truck.

I caught a ride from an injured driver in Portland OR in his personal Vehicle down to Canyonville OR, where I then drove his truck back up to Portland.

That's what's happening here. He's in ATL and needs a ride up to the Knoxville yard to pick up a tractor. I gave him a call and he's in no hurry so he's just going to chill until I get there. It's only like 200 miles and only 30 miles OOR for me so they are having me give him a ride.

The only downside is that I actually had to clean my truck. I had been getting lazy and piling stuff on the Passenger seat as I needed it so I could reach it while driving. Oh well, needed to be done.

That sounds like me lol! I have cases of water, my ice cleats, my all-weather Coleman suit, my shower shoes, and my PPE items in the passenger seat.
