LOL, I thought safety was of the utmost importance to Schneider, not the endless statistical analysis that they expect us to worry about all of the time. Schneider's philosophy obviously puts low cost well above safety. I say just ignore the over analysis of the statistics, operate smart and safely, and let the statistics fall where they may. You can always argue and discredit the statistics at a later date.

Frigg'n' A......my over speed is almost at 10 and needs to be at 5 LOL WTF Before that my first rig was a single sleeper with a detroit 60 that average 5 mpg lol....talk about getting screwed over. Ugh. The newer truck has a dd13 and I set the cruise all the time. :( Now I guess I will just try to set it between 55-59. Everything else like days worked, eta, out of route, and fuel stops, I can work on. I will try to my "best" for the next couple months and see where it lands me. I really want to get into intermodal, and I heard they look at these score cards.

You shouldn't be getting overspeed when the cruise is on. Have you checked your settings?

You will get over speed even on cruise solos 60mph. Teams 65mph. As posted 60.1 pegs u over speed resting foot on throttle peddle while on cruise pegs u over speed. Best bet is set cruise at 58

I'm not sure if it currently states this, but check the highway to success manual I think in the "on the road" section or whatever it is.

It used to specifically tell you to "go 67 or 68 mph down a hill when posted speed limit allows" to improve fuel economy. Maybe they took that out of the current editions, but if they are telling you one thing in the H2S manual and are dinging you for overspeed on the statistics maybe you can throw that one at them.

It does state that in the book, and the OC have a "guide to better fuel economy" you can pick up which states the same thing.

I set my cruise as high as it will go(61 on current truck) and don't get dinged for over speed. I throttle up to 58 set the cruise then hit acc until it maxes out.

It doesn't matter what you can set your cruise at. Your over speed at 60.1. Look at the Qualcomm when u stop.
