My first week I burned up my 70 sooo fast LOL I was logging line 4 while being loaded and unloaded. After that, I talked to a driver that's been with SNI for 10 years, LOL He straight said,"DUDE WTF YOU DOING?" lol "Your 70 is your money making time. Save it as much as POSSIBLE." After that, I've havn't taken a 34 yet because of exhausted hours lol I've been rolling past my 8th day just fine but with slow freight, I've taken more 34's this past month so far.

Was doing my pretrip this past monday, did my normal walk around and checked the ground for leaks,.....boy my whole under carriage was dripping with motor oil. Maybe thats why my oil level was low...hmmmm. Well this made me late for my appointment, and they ended up relaying out my load and bob tailed to the freightliner of arizona (very nice btw) Anyways, truck has leaks galore, and a fuel leak. Said it won't be done until Saturday. Well, I got a room and the next morning that gave me a loaner truck. Cool a Cascadia! Well thats how far cool it was....until I saw inside. It was abosolutely disgusting! Smelled like cigarette smoke, ashes, crumbs, and spills all over the floor. How do people deal with that for 2-3 weeks or LONGER...and they wonder why they are sick? smh. Now I smell like cigarettes and so do my clean clothes.....I want my truck back. Grrrrrrrrr

If it is not a driver assist load you can go to the sleeper and relax and you can log sleeper, you must stay on duty if you are on the dock and assisting in any type of work. Roadie you are miss informed. I am 100% positive of this. What you are saying is if you are being live loaded and sleeping in your sleeper you are required to be logged on duty? Really? YOU ARE WRONG.

I wouldn't have taken that truck. I will not live in a dirty environment like that. They could either find me a different truck or I would just sit in the hotel room and keep collecting breakdown pay.

Read the regs... "Resting in the sleeper" is a line four item...

Now guys, I'm not for this, but am just trying to show you how BOTH Federalies and Schniderettes are conspiring against the driver...

I recently sat in a hotel in bumfukville texas for 6 straight nights after my truck broke down. Finally they bussed me 600 miles into dallas to recover another truck.

Good luck with that. I never logged anything but fueling and pre/post trip on line 4.

Now that I'm in flatbed though loading/unloading has to be line 4 because I'm actually out working
