I was told that you can only just flag a post trip on paper log, but on elogs you have to log something. On paper you can't log less than 7.5 minutes, but on elog log you can log up to the minute so its required to have some time for everything.

One thing to keep in mind about all this is that none of it matters until an OSR, DOT, or judge and jury wants to see it. Otherwise just log it how you want. Its not like they have clear set rules that everyone can understand anyway. Heck, you can't even get the same rules from different OSRs to even know what SNIs policy really is.

When I was there, I would do a 3-minute flagged post-trip, 12 to 15 minute pre-trip, actual time fueling (usually 6 to 8 minutes), and they were requiring 30 minutes for a d/h, though I'd usually cut it to between 22 and 25 as a rule. Pretty much the same thing here at Crete. Never heard a word out of either ruling entity.

I just had a lumper service unoad me yesterday. It was a prepay, so I didn't have to make a check. But they are slow only because every time I go, they are always on break lol! The unload was expedient though. I guess it depends on where you are in the world.

Took almost 4 hours to unload 8 light pallets. They got it unloaded in the first half hour but didnt finish the paperwork for over 3 more hours.

It wasn't the paperwork, a lot of them won't give you your bills and let you leave until after they are done breaking down all the pallets. I have backed into some docks, paid the lumper, had my truck unloaded in 20 minutes and had to wait 5 hours for them to break it all down.
