Did it several times leading up to my last annual, not a peep said. What do they expect you to do if you can't park at the shipper and have been there for 8 hours? I don't abuse it, but if I need to use it to stay legal I will.

There is a good chance they will add it. That is how I got mine from a pm at a freightliner stealership.

If you still have time left in your 14 with drive time. Find a safe place to park and take a 10hr break. Its stupid but that's the game we play out here.

If your truck is a trade truck, they won't. I've had two PMs done without it being added. I have a POS 2006 Century.

By trade truck do you mean something they are getting rid of soon? I dont think mine would fit that bill. Its a 2010 Cascadia with 230,000 on it. When I came back from being out hurt they gave me an old worn out Century. Told me if I didnt like it he would find me something else. First load in that was 44K of lead and the truck could barely do 55 on flat land. They switched me to this truck and sent me through the mountains. I couldnt imagine hitting he mountains in the Century. It was well over due for some tlc.

I know what you mean. I've been at home since Saturday. Go back tomorrow. My girlfriend has had me put together new patio furniture, install a skylight, paint the guest bathroom and now she wants me to power wash the house so we can get it painted. I told her if we can't find a painter to power wash it before he paints it we ain't hiring him! I'm looking forward to going back to work so I can get a break!

I got home friday night and had to drive to kc and back saturday to sell a motorcycle. Then she had a bunch of family in town and that killed the rest of the weekend. I was relieved to hear my truck wasnt ready yet, till she started making one of her infamous lists. Oh well, a few less things for me to do next time Im in town.

They can chat all day long. I have headphones and a pillow. I sir don't work for sni. Big white W here. Most shippers and receivers do not have enough parking 4 overnight parking. And it take so long for us to even get through a bay door that by the time we are done loading or unloading we don't have enough hours to make it to the next rest stop so we have no choice but to run over hours. Fortunately the DOT allowed 2 hours over the limit in situations like these.
