i did mine right, you cant run miles they dont give you....so that means you dont get paid. well, i needed to start getting paid lol. ill think about o/o after i dont hve to worry about supporting my children....

 

if you ran milage then you wernt doing it right. any company that leases you on to miles just makes you a company driver with a truck payment.
you run percentage and you book your own loads. then you only have yourself to blame

 

i prefer to be responsible for my success or failure. and i like to do what i want to do and that might be something totally different tomorrow than it was today. nobody knows whats better for me than me. and you really think that dispatcher cares if you get home for christmass or your kids birthday then your nuts. they only care so far as their bottom line gets met.

ive had a few company jobs. only one lasted more than a month and that one i worked for 7 years. it was a smaller company, truck driving but not trucking , and the boss.was an exceptional man who went out of his way to make sure everyone.knew how important they were. ive never had that in any other job.

 

you can do that if the compnay offers a percentage...if not, then you run milage. im not dumb by no means, but i did make a bad choice to be a l/o with the wrong comapny...that i learned from...id be dumb to go back and do it again...

 

Well i believe leasing to Schneider will be a good thing for me, now i've been with schneider 7 years and i know their system and am looking forward to the challenge and GOOD TIMES....LOL

If you cant take your toys and move to another sandbox then your not an O/O or I/C or whatever word you choose to use.The deck is stacked against you to be successful.I dont need someone with a 30yr mortgage on a house they're upside down in,driving a fleese car and paying on credit cards and student loans making decisions that affect my income.I like to pick my own poision,cause I have no debt.
