    Hi,

I haven't taken cdl class yet. I'm wondering if anyone knows what schneider's requirments are for one's driving record? I have two tickets on my record, a 15mph over in May09 and an 11 over last july. (please don't tell to "slow down." I get it.) Nothing else on my record. I've spoken to a couple of company recruiters who have said that my record is ok with their policy. Hopefully Schneider is ok with it as well.

I'm trying to get in touch with a recruiter but have gotten thru to one yet.

I think 10 over or less you could have attended traffic school and it would not show on your record..

    Shadow,
I have same the question too. I've got a post with a Schneider driver. If I find anything I'll post it. If you find out I would appreciate if you would post it.

    Thanks!

Why not call Schneider and ask them. 1-800-44-PRIDE. I have never had a problem getting ahold of a recruiter, it is everyone else that you cant get ahold of.

I had three tickets over the course of the previous three years before hiring on with SNI. All were 5-10 over and two were plead down to speedometer violations. You'll probably be okay with your stated record, just be aware that SNI's background check will come up with every ticket you've ever recieved - regardless of conviction. Be up front about everything when you're talking to the recruiter. When I went thru orientation two people in my 'class' were sent home because of discrepencies between their stated records and their actual records.

I have citation for failure to maintain control in Jan 2010 and a moving violation (non speeding) in April 2008. No other violations in the past 7 years. I read where other candidates with more citations than I, are getting hired on at companies and I can't get anyone to look at me. WTH? I am assuming it is due to the accident citation being less than 1 year old. I could try Schneider.

Like RR said, just call 1-800-44-pride. They have answered the phone everytime I've called and are always more than willing to help/answer questions. They are the resident experts and would have all the "Right" information.

My truck is governed at 61 MPH. I have talked to guys who have managed to escape this, however the bonus pay is based on over speed calculation which can not be bypassed.
