I have 7 months over the road experience which I understand is a bit short of what is typically wanted. I have been told the shipping docks, Sysco, and the train yards. I've considered talking to Swift about getting a local job. I'm not picky, just need employment in NYC. I do not plan on driving a semi thru any crowds so you can trust my desire to live in NYC is pure hearted and in the best interest of the American people haha.

Start with the straight trucks and work your way up. Empire Merchants in Brooklyn or Fresh Direct in Long Island City are two that come to mind. Of course there's always Pepsi, or maybe Walgreens...
