When I stopped at the Pilot in Ky, all the 4 wheelers were using the self checkout and a clerk was running diesel transactions at the other end. I got in and out quickly and liked not having to wait. Time is money...

so they cant figure out how to use a machine? really dude? you scan and put something in a bag. wow and these same guys are driving a 80k pound truck. once again what a joke. the only issues with those machines are freezing problems nothing else. you scan, bag, pay and go. whats next these same guys cant use a ATM? probably cant open the the auto-mated doors for the showers at truck stops too huh.

no when one buys things they are paying for the service, the service is a cashier working the counter. The prices will be the same or higher anyways, so if you one of those idiots using the scan machine good for you. I personally will not and won't

also to add to it. i stood in line for 10 plus minutes before. 45 minutes once at a store. what kind of service do you call that? at least the machines i need dont need me to wait for someone. even though its usually not the cashier who is slow. its the customer who doesnt have their money ready. most people in the auto lane are quick and fast like me.

thats great if your always in a hurry, but for me I'm never in a hurry, I guess with proper trip planning one truly doesn't have to race through fuel islands, parking lots and the store.

Yeah the other day I went into the pilot late at night in Amarillo. Mabye 2200ish. I made a beeline for the cooler. Grabbed a couple dews. Then I came around the corner and it was like a NYC parking lot. I put those mountain dews back, and hit the ROAD JACK!!

Ya know what drives me nuts? The guy in line ahead of me that finishes his transaction and then moves at a glacial pace putting his bills in wallet, wallet in pocket, rearranging goods in bag, taking a sip from 64oz drink to make sure its "just right", all while telling the cashier a totally retarded story she don't give a #### about. "Move, ya stanky mofo!
