I think some guys compare it to a mission to Mars because they've never driven a truck, never even been in a truck. For them, it's uncharted territory!

I love driving the Big Rig too but soon the the advanced range maneuvers will be 2nd nature twice forgotten & most likely thats when the small annoyances will start to get under the skin. The posts will probably address topics such as: other drivers are pigs, that the four wheeler doing 80 to get passed cut you off and then slammed on their brakes causing some anal leakage, your dispatcher doesnt seem to want to answer anything in a timely manner, that truck stops are starting to charge for parking, that CB language is too foul, and that the job gave you kidney damage.

It's all relative and a driver just has to choose their battles and what patience level they feel comfortable working at. Just like driving chained up over the pass or driving chained up to the parking area.

From what I have seen riding along with a buddy regarding rigs traveling the 100 miles down Rt 1 from Fort Kent to Houlton even in the worst snow conditions he would put one set of tire chains on the front drives. looked legit to me.

I don't understand why you would pick any of the above companies. This website i alone will give you enough information. I would do more research.

if you dont have chains dont drive through a weigh station in washington in winter
after removing my chains on top of stevens pass a cop in an un marked car going the other way waved me into a wide spot
he told me i better have all my chains laid out on the ground before my dmv check came back
he told me i was one chain short and i could go to the mill but stay there til i got another chain
i loaded up and went down 97 to 90 and he was at cle elum scale but did not look at me
