If it's NOT because of the pay and benefits then why can't they fill
15 positions when there's 5 million CDL holders out there.
If the pay was worth the work they'd have every truck full.

The answer is summed up right here!!! They can't fill the seats because,

"its the ppl that dont recognize they bad driving habits and fail"

ESPECIALLY if they have a little experience!!! I see them ALL the time, as already posted. Your too convinced your s(## don't stink and your UNTEACHABLE!!!

As ETHOS also stated; "Man, with an attitude like that why be worried? Attitude is everything and yours is spot on so come on over."

    That's why!!!

Wow, that is almost exactly what I was thinking about myself. I have even been trying to shift my little pickup as smooth as possible LOL.

Thanks for all the encouragement on here. Gives someone who is trying and wants to learn some hope.

Low rates are the biggest problem in the tank world. A lot of the loads pay less now than they did 20 years ago.

And with all the extra aggravation involved in doing a haz- mat tank many people think the pay/benifits are not worth it .....
