If all the damage is as it appears, I don't see why it should have been totaled. I bought a salvage car once and it had frame damage, although it was fixed prior to my buying it. There is a process to remove the salvage from a title in the U.S.

Looks like it was a TIM HORTONS truck , saw 1 of their COLUMBIA lightweights in Montreal a few years ago same way , not a lot of damage, mostly body work but the insurance company wrote it off.

As long as you get a CLEAN title the insurance company should be ok with it

Use good judgement, from the picture, it looks minor. If that's all the damage, why is it on a salvage title?

I might be wrong but.......something smells with this.
The truck has a high value (if the hood and bumper are the only damaged parts) as it sits in the picture.
Yet it was classified as salvage which would mean it was totaled from a insurance point off view.
    Just doesn't add up.
Now if it had frame or frontaxle damage ,then it would make sence to be totaled.

Offcourse the person who sees the truck in person can judge much better if there was more damage that was allready repaired before that picture was taken.

Is it possible to get a clean title of the truck which has rebuilt title .
I spent good time with this unit and didn't find that if they worked on any engine or structural part even the driver side tire assembly is old and the stickers of both sides match each other so nothing big seems replaced .
Is there a process to get clean title ???

Where are you in Canada ? If your in ONTARIO contact your local MTO office and they will give you all the info that you need.

As for it being SALVAGE , I have seen trucks sitting at KW in TORONT0 ONT that were a mess ( on 2 trailers ) and being setup to be fixed right next to 1 looking like this 1 and the insurance wrote it off.
