Sirius Radio- Significant Background Noise (Hiss, Humm, Etc.)

    Use the function where it comes through a radio station....sucks sometimes but cuts the noise out.

    To all of those posting suggestions to this thread, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH! I'm certain that your suggestions have and will help many!

    However... I'm posting this message as a final(?) suggestion to resolve the problem, and to admit that I'm a BONEHEAD! Evidently, I didn't have the 12v plug (or the 2-way splitter that I was using) firmly pushed in all the way. This fixed my background hissing problem.

    This reminds me of why computer technical support people always ask "Is the device plugged in?". I'm a dimmy!

    mine was doing the same thing but is was the antenna crossing the audio out.... just re-routed then and it's crystal clear now...
