    That is really the only way to get a good idea if it is experience, or BS talking. Of course, BS will BS about everything...:rolleyes:

    Is there a way for a normal user to tell if someone has been banned? That way you don't wonder/worry about an active poster gone suddenly silent.

    MJ1657 Thanks this.

    Go to a thread they either started, preferably, or participated in heavily and often, and find a post, if the screen name is struck through, that member is not at present allowed to post.

    Another observation, not everyone who gets banned decides to come back after their 'vacation' ends.

    That is how it used to work, and maybe still does for the mods, but this is what I see:

    I reported your issue, and we will have to see about fixing it. There are also things we used to have as mods we no longer have, too.

    d o g and bullhaulerswife Thank this.

    Am I the only one that when logged in and while readin' various posts in several threads, one at a time, --- approximately half of my monitor screen contains the text of the post(s) while the other half appears to be live-feed images which I assume are some of the TTR members sittin' in front of their computer. I don't think they see me, based on what activities I've seen them engaging in. I try not to look but the flesh is too weak to resist. :glasses7:
    Is this another upgrade added feature that y'all didn't mention?
    I sure do a lot more readin' now than I did
    prior to the upgrade. :book::read:
    I'm also spendin' more time than before searchin' for my favorite smilies.

    Now, don't get me wrong here, --- I ain't complainin' nor do I consider this to be a problem. Mostly I want folks to know that I can only see them from the waist up when they're sittin' at a desk. So, they might wanna wear a shirt, T-shirt, tank top, or wrapped up in a towel. Unless you're gonna be gettin' up from time to time to fetch somethin' or gettin' a snack; in which case a bathrobe or larger towel oughta be considered.

    Anyway, ...........................................just thought I'd run that by you folks to see if y'all can figure out what's happenin'.
    Perhaps it's something I'm doin' incorrectly? :dontknow:

    The yellow box is what I am complaining about. It doesnt stay closed. When I revisit the page it is always opened and is extra information I feel I dont need. So I have to click the yellow box on top to close it. The old site, once closed, it didnt reappear.

    There is an arrow at the bottom right to close it, too.
