Yes, the poor Megas... after all that they’ve done for truck drivers and this industry, to be treated this way... oh, the humanity!

I would argue that you’re not the perfect person to hire. You’re on the older side for starting a new trade. These places want guys in their 20’s to early 30’s. A local company doesn’t want to train a guy just to know he’ll retire, or go out on disability in 5-6 years.

this is why the county job i posted for him is a perfect fit. They aren’t so much looking for that young buck. They are happy with an older guy just looking for some bennies while he rides his time out

Yea I get it. Like I said, I'll take what I can get for this year regardless of pay.

You don't pay for your own school to go to prime.
You pay for it so you don't have to go to prime.
Florida is not the best thing going or you wouldn't
Be here begging for a job.

It's the bottom of the pay scale for truck drivers.
Always has been, always will be.
Old people don't anything but medication.

Prime is actually at the upper end of pay out of all of the megas.

Yup. The opportunities there are great. I have several friends there. One is company and they all make decent cash. Could do much worse starting out OTR and I don't know where you'll do better.
