I recently applied for this company. It took close to two weeks of me initiating calls and texts just to get a drug screen and a bus ticket from Dallas, TX to Chicago for orientation (which they tried to get me to pay for).

After turning down work from my current job for three days assuming a smooth transition I began to question their communication practices.

I asked the guy that seemed to be the recruiter, "if this is how you communicate with the hiring process what happens if the truck breaks down? Is this how the process goes?" The guy seemed offended by me asking that question and totally avoided answering the question by deflecting saying that "my driving for three different companies in two years and it taking me a week to respond to them sending me an ad through Indeed.com made him feel that I wasn't a good fit for them." And he wished me the best of luck.

I mean if they didn't want to hire me they should've just said they were not interested. Why waste both of our time and money?

I'd say this company is a no go for me!!! Poor communication kills companies.

 

They tell you to go pound sand, and now they're a no go for you? LOL, If someone asks me what a narcissist is, I'm going to use this post as an example, thanks.

 

Well there you go. The guy had to be Swiss instead of Slav, being from Lake Geneva. You got to work for the Slavs to get the full meal deal, I guess.
