That sucks for you. Just came over it Thursday and Friday at almost 60* and not a bit of snow.

My first time chaining up was right before Christmas at Lookout Pass. 2 drivers ignored the requirement and continued up. Both were spun out blocking the right lane just past the halfway point.

They lifted the chain requirements late morning and I made it over. Road was bare like nothing happened, lol. Storm was supposed to last most of the day today but it fizzled out I guess.

Now sitting at the TA waiting for a new delivery appointment.

Saw a hay hauler truck jackknifed and stuffed into the trees, what a mess.

    #### like this is why I stop short when chain law is up. I have been stuck on Vail pass before when two billy bigriggers ignored the chain law...passed me one after the other...the one of them TRIED to pass the other and about that time, they started spinning their tires. They ended up blocking both lanes, and both shoulders...and then started arguing about which of them was at fault... I just avoid it now... those extra few miles I can squeeze out after chaining up and down three time that day make no real difference in the long run.
