That sucks for you. Just came over it Thursday and Friday at almost 60* and not a bit of snow.
My first time chaining up was right before Christmas at Lookout Pass. 2 drivers ignored the requirement and continued up. Both were spun out blocking the right lane just past the halfway point.D.Tibbitt, Flat Earth Trucker, bryan21384 and 2 others Thank this. -

#### like this is why I stop short when chain law is up. I have been stuck on Vail pass before when two billy bigriggers ignored the chain law...passed me one after the other...the one of them TRIED to pass the other and about that time, they started spinning their tires. They ended up blocking both lanes, and both shoulders...and then started arguing about which of them was at fault... I just avoid it now... those extra few miles I can squeeze out after chaining up and down three time that day make no real difference in the long run.
