So how long until trailers will have to be snow free

I picked up a trailer one winter day that had sat at a customers dock for a few days, and had a mound of snow on top. While pulling it down the road, the other "professionals" were telling me on the CB "you need to get that off there", "that's dangerous", "the cops will pull you over with that snow on top", yada yada.

I said" if you experts can tell me how to get that snow off there, with no ladder, I'm listening!" The radio suddenly got quiet.....
